Hangzhou City—host of the recent G20 Summit—has long been regarded as among China’s most enjoyable cities. Located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang University City College (ZUCC) is now seeking applicants for multiple Academic English teaching positions. Academic English Post: teach Academic English, including formal academic writing, reading, listening, speaking and grammar to a group of approximately 60 students [in lectures of 60 and tutorials of 15-30]; assess student performance, including papers, tests and exams; develop curriculum, particularly assessment rubrics and assessments
Contract: full-time, renewable annual contract beginning September 01, 2017; 18 in-classroom teaching hours/week; 04 Learning Support Center hours/week
Salary: MA holders, RMB17,000+ per month starting; BA holders, RMB15,000+ per month starting

Qualifications: MA, Applied Linguistics or MA, TEFL/TESL [BA, Applied Linguistics or TEFL/TESL, CELTA, DELTA plus a minimum of two (2) years of verifiable teaching experience considered, depending upon applicant pool]; although some verifiable Academic English teaching experience at tertiary level is desired, recent field-related MA graduates from full-time, on-campus programs that include teaching internships are strongly encouraged to apply; familiarity with APA writing/research system; high MSWord proficiency; some Excel proficiency
